Alfatech SPA has a share capital of Euro 280,000 and was founded in 1985. From the first year both turnover and profit increased continuously. Every year profit was re-invested in the Company. Our balance sheets are public and certified by independent rating companies.

Alfatech is located in Genoa not far from the border with France and about 100 Km south of Milan.

Our principal activity is the commercialization of scientific instruments throughout Italy.

The instruments we sell are sold exclusively by our company and come from, the USA, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, France, Sweden, Netherland and UK. Some instrument we sell are manufactured in Italy by our sister company Gyan S.r.l.

More specifically Alfatech works in “niche” fields where very high specialization is required.

We are a sound company with a group of products that, ever since its beginning has been made up of chromatography instruments.

With special detectors, robotic sampler, software, kit for clinical analysis, we actually work in HPLC, GC, CE, TLC, Flash Chromatography and SFC, we have customers in pharmaceutical, chemical and petrolchemical companies, Food & Feed, University, governmental institution, as well as hospital where we have customer either in research lab with our microdialysis product, and in diagnostic lab .

In this field, we offer specific solution for the most complex problems using Electrochemical detectors, MALLS, ELSD, Chemiluminescence, LIF, sampling systems for the sample treatment using techniques like SPE , SPDE, SPME and Headspace techniques, and also for environmental monitoring.

Of equal importance is the field of Medicinal Chemistry, and more generally the Organic synthesis market.

In this segment of the market we are able to offer product and instrument for the synthesis, purification and concentration of synthetic products. In short, a separate technological sector consists of syringe pump systems , that can be used for many different applications like reactor feeding, rock core analysis, and for supercritical fluid delivery, moreover we have also a complete range of instrument for the organoleptic analysis using electronic sensors, like e-nose and e-tongue.

At the Alfatech headquarters in Genoa are the application laboratory, there we are running quite often customer samples, here our clients can take training courses, experiment with the most sophisticated analysis systems and check the suitability of new techniques on their specific problem. In the lab we are testing also every instrument we receive before the delivery, for our QC internal policy, we have also the warehouse and the training room where we are running training course for our sales people as well.

For all those interested, we are able to offer an analysis service and/or fine tuning of analytical methods used.

Together with our sister company Gyan we offer a service of prompt technical assistance of production and development of scientific instruments, and of customizing already existing instruments.

Our Sales network covers the entire country and all of them are graduated in chemistry, or they have Ph.D degree in chemistry. so they are speaking the same language as the customer does, this allows them to identify very quickly the root of the technical problem of our customers and suggest the most satisfactory solutions for them.

Our internal customer support department include chemists that can assist the customers for sample analysis, or to run on the spot trials, this represent a big help to our sales force.

We organize often small congress, lecturers, training courses, demonstrations, road shows. We promote our products also with articles on Italian scientific magazines, advertising and we participate every year to the MAC Exhibition in Milan.
